The music video for singer Kaina’s single, Come Back as a Flower, directed and performed by Carolina Aguirre and Laurence Hills, depicts a flowerless creature moving through the landscape, interacting with the organic matter it comes across. As the song builds, the creature builds too, gaining texture and flowers, awakening to it’s surrounding. Culminating in it becoming part of the landscape.
This structured outfit is made from dead stock cotton and stuffing, patched and then quilted together with dried flowers, moss and detachable silk strands sewn on - allowing the piece to transform throughout the shoot.
